The Jonah Keri Podcast, Episode 11 (Part 2)
Continuing our Baseball Hall of Fame Week on the Jonah Keri Podcast, today’s guest is the voice of my childhood, Dave Van Horne. For 32 years, Van Horne was the voice of the Montreal Expos, entertaining fans with his smooth voice, deft play-calling and signature home run call, “Up, Up, and Away!” For the past decade, he’s been the radio voice of the Florida Marlins. Van Horne just won the Ford C. Frick Award for excellence in broadcasting from the Baseball Hall of Fame.
