I have no argument with your list but want to add another name for consideration, Tommy Henrich.
Combs probably deserves priority as he has about 1 1/2 years more of plate appearances and played center field.
But Henrich played his whole career with the Yankees as well getting into 1284 games and his OPS+ was 132 compared to the 126 of Combs. Like Combs (except for Earl’s last season) that OPS+ never dipped below 100, and Henrich’s two highest in a full season (151, 148) were higher than those of Combs.
I also would not completely discount Winfield. He did play in about 2+ fewer seasons than Combs and also played a corner, not CF, but his OPS+ of 134 (in NY) is excellent and to the extent that awards like all-star games, MVP ballots and Gold Gloves are meaningful (not very, I know), he was a regular vote getter while in NY. His lowest OPS+ while in NY was 116 and twice it was over 150.
I know I am cherry picking stats, but I simply wanted to give those 2 players a mention. They are not unworthy of consideration on a first draft for the final list.
