Dan Szymborski and the crew at Baseball Think Factory invited me to participate in their MLB Trade Deadline mega-panel, Friday July 31 (tomorrow), Noon-6 pm ET.
Frankly, I’d open my yap and/or mash my keyboard to talk baseball even if the trees were the only ones around. Lucky for you, BTF did considerably better than trees to fill out the rest of the panel (regular trees anyway, if they got Ents, that would’ve been awesome).
Slated to chat on the panel are:
Craig Calcaterra (Shysterball)
David Cameron (Fangraphs, U.S.S. Mariner)
Brian Joura (Fangraphs, Fantasy Pros 911)
Sky Kalkman (Beyond the Box Score)
Howard Megdal (The Baseball Talmud, New York Observer, The Perpetual Post)
Pat Lackey (Where Have You Gone Andy van Slyke?)
Adam Morris (Lone Star Ball)
Chris Needham (NBC Washington)
John Sickels (Minor League Ball, RotoWire, The Baseball Prospect Book)
Eric Simon (Amazin’ Avenue)
Jeff Sullivan (Lookout Landing)
It’s a collection of talent so strong, I’ve resigned myself to making coffee, so as to avoid sounding like a halfwit by comparison. But damn, it’ll be some good coffee.
So for all the latest news on the MLB Trade Deadline, and up-to-the-minute analysis by some of the smartest folks in the biz, head here to join in.
