Expensive Trade Deadline Mistakes

With all the advocating for big-ticket trades at the deadline, it should be noted that teams have a long history of squandering millions of dollars (and often premium young talent) in what proved to be futile attempts to crash the postseason dance. I cover some of these dreadful miscues (Matt Morris – Oy!) in today’s edition of The Count, in the Wall Street Journal.
