Stuff Journalists Like: Exotic Assignments
On the Internet, as in life, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It was no surprise then to see the smash hit blog Stuff White People Like take off, spawn a book — and then inspire some inspiring writers to continue the meme. Hence the highly entertaining site (especially if you’re a journalist) Stuff Journalists Like.
I confess to being a novice humor writer (at best). But still, after reading SJL for several months, I had to take a crack at writing something along these lines. Thanks to Chris and the crew at SJL, and apparently their sense of charity, they gave me a shot. And with that, I give you Stuff Journalists Like, *#37: Exotic Assignments.
