Do 3-Point Shooting Teams Collapse in NBA Finals?
2 June 2009
That’s the subject of my latest article for “The Count”, in the Wall Street Journal.
The Orlando Magic rank as one of the most prolific long-range shooting teams in NBA playoff history (and the Lakers aren’t all that far behind–teams shoot 3s more often in general now than they did 20 years ago). If Orlando can keep its hot shooting going, we may get one of the biggest surprise champions in league history.
