…buy the complete series of The Wire, on sale TODAY ONLY for $81.99 (normally $250). I’ve professed my love for this show from time to time on the blog. But I want to be perfectly clear here:
The Wire is the best drama in the history of television.
This is not opinion, it is fact.
I demand that you buy the complete series today, while the price is outrageously low. Click here to purchase, then read the top review by R.A. McKenzie, which explains the show very well without giving anything away. You’ll need to use subtitles to watch the first couple episodes, and it’ll take a few episodes to get used to the dialogue and pacing. But once you get absorbed by the show, that’s it…you’ll blaze through all five seasons (63 hours) in a flash. Watching the last episode of The Wire a while back, I was legitimately sad that the show had ended, as if I now had a void in my life. It sounds ridiculous, but you’ll feel it too.
Go. Buy it. And if you’ve already seen the whole show, buy it for someone you think will appreciate it. You’ll be their favorite person ever.
