BOOK PROPOSAL IS DONE…WHEEE!!!

For the past several months, I’ve been working on a proposal for a hybrid baseball/Wall Street book that I can’t talk about in great detail (at least not yet). Anyway, that long slog has mercifully come to a temporary end, as the proposal was sent to the publisher just a few minutes ago.
There’s a good chance there will be some rewriting on the proposal, maybe as soon as Monday. And of course if the publisher actually likes the proposal and the general book idea, there’s a chance this could materialize into an actual book project. We shall see.
All I know right now is this: For the first time in what seems forever, I can have a weekend where I’m not obsessing over this project constantly. Boys and girls…it’s Miller Time.

Over here the Seibu Lions beat the Yomiuri Giants in Game 7 of the Japan Series, 3-2. They came back to score two runs in the 8th inning. Great game, made even better by several visits to the mound by “Obama Coach” of the Giants! Yep, one of the coaches last name is Obama..
