Set your TiVos, as it’s a rare double-duty week for me on the HotList. I’ll be on ESPNews, Friday, May 16 starting at 4:10 pm ET (segments usually last 15-20 minutes).
As always, I’ll be paired up on the “Insider” segment with Keith Law, Rob Neyer or Jerry Crasnick, i.e. people who are much smarter than me. Fortunately I compensate by making inane, esoteric jokes. The producers seemed to enjoy it earlier this week when I compared Jose Lopez‘s batting approach to “a 3-year-old on a Pixie Stix bender.” I mean, the guy has a higher batting average than he does OBP. That’s really, really hard to do.
